What books have you checked out or bought lately

Yes, indeed! ;)

And I have quite a few on hold at the library, and I've bought lots. Can't keep track! :P

Nicole. It was good, follows the same structure as P&P just Amish characters. Most of the names are similar too.

Maria. It was ok. I have it on my Nook. The ending was very sudden. Reminded me somewhat of Lost in Austen... not as bad but similar.

Aerykah, I love that you are a Christian Fiction reader as well! We are kindred spirits, no doubt about it. We could be book buddies too:-)
Evelyn, I do the same thing! I request like ten books from the library at once sometimes Lol. I'll tell myself I have enough and then I keep finding "just one more." Lol
I have started another book Love Lifted Me. I have read the first two in the series and loved them. It takes a little bit to get going on the first one but I'm glad I stuck to it and have enjoyed the whole series so far.

I believe several of the girls here read Christian fiction. :) I've done a few "buddy reads" & they were pretty fun. If you ever want to do that, just let me know! :)

@Aerykah-I love Amanda Grange's diaries! My favourite is Captain Wentworth's (so far), but Knightley's was very good, too!
@Bonnie-I'd love to do a buddy read with you! I'm not sure if I can in the next weeks, though, because I have other reads already planned. But we can find a way :) Let me know if you can wait a little :)

I just remembered seeing the buddy read comment. Ok, take your time. I am never without a book so if you need a some time, no worries at all.

Sounds like a plan. When is a convenient time for you to start this book? We can wait and start it June 1st if that is convenient for you. Or if you have another time frame in mind I am flexible:-)

The buddy reads I've done were "organized" in a group. Since this one isn't, where do you want to discuss it?

I really enjoyed What Matters in Jane Austen also but ATUA was better.

I'm new to goodreads as of this week so do you want to start a place and let me know? I think I'm getting the hang of it but just in case, you probably know a lot more about how this group stuff works than I do Lol!

Yay!! Anne, I think you know how much I loved this book! :) I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
