What books have you checked out or bought lately

Why don't we use this thread to post pictures of are book collections also if that is okay with Alice.

Bath Tangle will be my next book (after Bleak House) and I am very excited for it. I am glad you like it since not many people seem to. I will surely let you know what I think of all three! :)

Thank you! I still have many paperbacks that need to be read, and I don't think I'll stop buying them either, but it'll be nice to get some freebies sometimes and save a bit of money...even though ,as you pointed out, I must beware of the one click button! :P

Freebies are one of the best parts of kindle. It is nice to get some books that you really want to read for free.

Yes, I have seen the BBC mini-series, and I absolutely love it!! It's one of my favorite movies ever. :D Right up there with P&P. ;)
Hey Alice! :D Yep, I love the movie of N&S, and I know I will love the book too. :) It does seem a bit slow starting out, but I'm guessing that will change.

Yes definitely! Not the same as having them paperback, but if I really love a book, I can always buy it again in physical copy ;)
YAY ANNE! Don't worry that what I do! Often buy on kindle and then if I love it and want the physical copy then go and buy the paperback! So pleased you have! You won't regret it :)

Thank you Soph!!! :) I am so excited! I don't think I will regret it, you're right. It'll be great having both physical and electronic versions of books.

you should try Huck. ;) My fav Mark Twain novel was Puddin' Head Wilson. :P You have to either love his writing or dislike it. There's really no middle.

Haha ;D He does have a very different style. I had to read most of his work for school though and I loved Puddin Head Wilson. :P

I haven't read Tom Sawyer yet, tho I really want to. :) Yes, I kinda liked that part too!
I agree, you usually love or hate Twain's writing. ;) I wrote two major school papers on Hunk Finn, so I really got to know it well! :P That's actually the only one of his works I've read (other than a few short stories), but I really got to love his wit and style. :)

I know what you mean about collecting books, Samanta! ;D I have hundreds!
Heather- yes! I liked his style! So classic. haha :)

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Childern looks good.I have been thinking of putting it on my TBR list.I flipped throw it at Barnes and Noble and the pictures were amazing.

I really want to read First Impressions.I am not big on Amish fiction but this one looks really good.I love anything P&P.
