You are reading at least 10 books per a month... at this rate, you should read at least 120 books... you should push for 150!!!

well if you find a rich grandfather, hopefully new evidence will be uncovered that we're long lost sisters.
I love the idea of only reading from my personal shelves but I know I'd never be that disciplined! Even if I can resist buying books (which I can do from time to time) I still get the urge to check out new books from the library. You're doing great so far!
Just wanted to say hi. Don't want you to think I have forgotten to cheer you on. (I haven't! Goooooo Becky!)
Allison, I'd adopt you, you're younger than me! ;)Joanie, It's difficult, but I'm doing it. I have done some trades, so I'm not 100% reading ONLY from my shelves, but I haven't BOUGHT anything since the end of December. Yet.
Kathryn, I have some long books coming up, so I'm not sure if I will be able to keep this pace up. We'll see!
Becky wrote: "Allison, I'd adopt you, you're younger than me! ;)"yessssss. I was adopted anyway you know, so I can double dip in the er...adopting pool? I guess :P
hey tell me when you're going to start Bleak House...I might read it with you.Count of Monte Cristo too.
Oooh! OK. It will definitely be after the Spring Challenge is over. I'm not even sure if I will be able to finish, but I'm gonna try!
I didn't know that you were adopted, but heck yeah you can double dip! My ad will read:
Newly rich adopted granddaughter of wealthy mysterious millionaire seeking long lost sisters and a brother. Only Viners need apply. ;)
Allison, don't forget about me and The Loop! Count of Monte Cristo should be first, if you want, because it is such perfect, lovely, exciting, romantic, etc. book. The Loop, we don't know yet, but I can promise satisfaction with the Count!

I sorta scanned CoMC in high school and hated it...dunno why, loooooove the movie (which I know is different)...so I do want to try again.

I'm starting to believe we were all seperated at birth anyway :P even though our births are all rather er....scattered.
Allison, you HAVE to try COMC again. You have to. Just. Go. I'm withholding my millions until you do.
Becky wrote: "Allison, you HAVE to try COMC again. You have to. Just. Go. I'm withholding my millions until you do. "miser :P
OH MY GOSH, COMC was one of the only classics that I really liked! I loved it!!! I should read it again!!!

hahaha, at least when my boyfriend asks me those useless questions (I mean the place of things that have been always the same and which he used already), I tell him logic places!!:-)))

Becky, you are making awesome progress!Jeane, I will read it after I finish Jon's Hideous Kinky, and Becky's Oryx and Crake. Promise.;)
Kandice wrote: "Becky, you are making awesome progress!"Thanks... I'm reading Lady Susan right now, and I just cannot seem to read more than two or three pages at a time. Last night we had a blackout, and I ended up reading the most consecutive pages I've read since I started that book... by flashlight!
It's not that it's not good, it really is, I just think that I wasn't really in the mood for it, and so my brain isn't focusing like it should. I'm going to try to read more of it today. Hopefully finish it. It's short.
