What time is it and what are you doing?

12.48pm I just got back from a Dr's appointment. My ankle has been bothering me - I fell down some stairs a couple of years back and hurt it very badly (I probably should have got it checked out when I did it back then). It gave me grief for about 12 months or so, but has been okay for at least 12 months now and all of a sudden it's started playing up again. The doc thinks maybe there's a little bit of bone floating around so I have to get an x-ray tomorrow. Not sure what they do if that is the case?! Maybe I'll just have to put up with it :/
Working for the rest of the day then going to a friends house for dinner. She is Italian and I loooove Italian food yummo can't wait!!
Hope you are all having a great day/night :)
11:48 p.m. and I'm reading the rest of current chapter in Harry Potter book and see what happens from there. Got quite a bit of reading done at work tonight.
Well it has taken me over three weeks to "train" my new partner in the art of shutting up once in a while. Sorry to sound so crude but I have NEVER ran into anybody who can talk so much.
12:17PM Wow had a full day with grandson! He can be very needy sometimes. Paw Paw played with him out in the backyard so I got a chance to finish my book after dinner. YAY! Now here checking GR before I decide to crawl into bed.
Chris I did finally finish the book. UGH it was not an attention grabber at all, and then when it did pick up it became very predictable.
Dan, glad your shoulder is doing much better now! That is great news.
Michelle I hope your ankle ends up being ok!

It's 1:18 a.m. and bedtime. Have to get up early. Goodnight folks! Hopefully tonight I won't write a novel as part of my dreams. I can't construct a sentence properly but I've been having writing dreams of all things.

I do that all the time. A lot times I'll be dreaming that I'm writing with a pen on paper and in my dream I know I'm about to wake up, so I'll try to memorize what's on the paper, but I never can.

7:05AM Having my first cup o coffee. Hub stayed home today due to not feeling well. Will be starting BoneMan's Daughters today. Sounds like a great book. But of course because it is Ted Dekker.
Awesome Kyle thanks! My favorite is still Thr3e. And then Adam follows closely after that. But then again I have not been disappointed by anything of Dekker's

9:44AM Started my book and I am already hooked! This one is like a breath of fresh air after that last monstrosity I read. LOL

Haha, so glad you're done with it and can move onto something else! :)
Awesome Kyle enjoy your new cat.
Thanks Kathryn! No one is more happy then I am about finishing the other one.

Thanks. The cat explored every room of the house, jumped up on the kitchen counters, and is now asleep by her litter box. I'm thinking of calling her Gizmo."
Gizmo is my calico's name. :)

Cat or a kitten? Both are lots of fun it's just that kittens are a bit rambunctious for me. Congrats!

It's 1:02 p.m. and I have an hour to read before work. Yesterday I focused solely on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Today I will focus only on 11/22/63.

Supposed to reach 85 here in Louisville today and then Friday the high is supposed to be 55. A difference of 30 degrees in 48 hours. No wonder everybody here stays sick all the time.

LOL! We better enjoy it while we can, summer's not far away.

Haha! Yeah, then when it's 110 degrees every day, we'll be wishing it was this chilly. Oh the life of a Texan! :)

Good thing for phones with reading apps!!! :)

5:17PM Have not been around much today, been playing a game online with hubby. So now we had dinner and I got to settle in for some reading and I am already 100 pages in and OMG what a great story already. I love Ted Dekker. If I just keep reading I could finish this tonight, but more than likely it will be tomorrow since I have to work out yet this evening. so I have about 2 hours to read right now.
Talking about our weather....lol...up and down, up and down, but you kinda get used to it I guess. I can remember when I first got here to Texas, coming from Indiana, and it would be 40 degrees in January and everyone bundled up saying "God it is freezing today." I would laugh and say "What? this is like summer!" I knew then instantly that I would love Texas. Now here for 16 years and yes 40 does feel a bit chilly...LOL

You're right Chris, I have not been very enthusiastic with this read. I really have not enjoye..."
I can understand how you feel. I am not really enjoying the books I am reading right now either. They just don't seem to grab me as much as I had hoped and at this point I am almost getting tired of saying "It has to get better" Hope you have a great one lined up next. I'm thinking I will need a good King novel after I finish these to make up.
