2.46pmCatching up on the soaps and reading, I was on holiday last week. I have to pop out in about an hour, but then I will be right back to the soaps and reading til I do dinner for me and my son, then reading til he's in bed, and then playing some xbox :D

11:07 AM. For once, the sun is shining! It's making the ice melt!! I enjoyed some delicious oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. I need to continue on with laundry, which is almost done. I also need to run the dishwasher, since I forgot to start it yesterday. I put detergent in it, though! haha! I will be starting on Roadside Crosses today, and I'm really looking forward to reading this with Janie. I am going to make some BookTube videos first, since I didn't make them yesterday. It's a bit easier to do them when Mark isn't home. I have to shut the extra bedroom door because he's got the t.v. on, which isn't a big deal. However, the cats will sit there and meow by the door and you can hear it in the videos, and they try to open the door by sticking their paws underneath and pulling/pushing the door. It's rather cute but pathetic at the same time. :)
Thanks for the well wishes guys, Dr. gave me a z-PAC so hopefully I can get up and keep going. Christmas presents are getting harder to buy as the boys get older. Can't really wrap tires. Hehe. Hope you are all enjoying the season. Trying to get interested in, Lakeshore Christmas. Head is still foggy.

20.34Taking a break from reading to play a few fb games, and then back to the reading :D I am 4 books from completing my 2013 reading challenge, despite having a (now) 17month old running around under my feet, and not reading at all in November because I participated in NaNoWriMo :) x

00.17AMBored, if I am honest. Read over 100 pages of my book, and had a break on FB and GR and tried to go back to my book but started to nod off. Guess its bedtime x

10:44 p.m.EST Had a bit of a nap, now I'm awake and will be editing once I clear out e-mail. This morning my stepmother said it was -50 with the wind chill out at the ranch, and that Montana was the coldest place on Earth this morning... Just as happy to be in Georgia!

Yep, I know EXACTLY what you mean! One of my cats, Ted, is VERY talkative... he likes to wake me up for a chat at about 4 AM every morning - not so cute :/ I've had to have stern words with him. At least he tries to meow a bit quieter now, I guess we're making progress!
9:58 PM. I really hate when Mark has a bad day at work. It always makes me feel so guilty and helpless. :/ I think after me making dinner and him a cup of tea, he seems in a bit of a better mood. Anyways, this afternoon, I got a workout, shower, did the dishes, did my video for TOATEOLT, and Mark came home right after I uploaded it. Mark didn't want to go to the store with me, so I went by myself. After I came home, I cooked dinner, put up the clean dishes, ate dinner, cleaned up the kitchen, started the dishwasher, and now I'm sitting here with my boy while he watches t.v. I will be starting Roadside Crosses in a bit. Really hoping my sweet husband has a better day tomorrow. I just love him so much, and you know how it is...You hate to see the people you love not have a good day, so it makes you have a bad day. Oh hey, Janie! When I was at the store, I bought some Creme Brûlée creamer. You've mentioned it before, so I thought I'd try it. :)

At..."The last cat I had, I had for ten years. She would be up at 6 AM, EVERY MORNING. If it was a day I didn't have to be up for school, which started at 7:30, she would wake me up! Little stinker! She would butt her head into me to wake me up. When I would wake up, I'd tell her, "Sweetie, I don't have to be anywhere. Come sleep with me." So, she'd be content and sleep with me. She was my alarm clock. :) Gizmo on the other hand.....She stays in bed, maybe will get up and eat once, but then go back to bed, and stays in bed until about 11. Little lazy baby bum!
Haha that is so cute! Ted does that head butt thing with me too, sometimes he does it so hard it hurts! I wouldn't mind so much if he just came in, meowed, then went to sleep, but instead he wanders around the house meowing from room to room - it's like he's saying "I'm back now everyone! Everyone, you can wake up now! I'm here everyone! Come and pat me and give me attention!" It's so annoying but it's kind of funny too because when I very loudly say SSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH TED! He will stop mid meow and be quiet for a few minutes, then start meowing again just at a lower volume. It makes me laugh now but it is NOT so funny at 4 AM!!I hope Mark has a better day tomorrow, poor thing.

3 a.m. EST I have to take Dmitry to work today because I have an appointment in the afternoon with the gastroenterology people. Finally making decent progress on my editing, but since I'll have to be up I'll probably be taking a nap soon.

Kathryn it is hard to have our hubby's having a bad day. Every once in a while I have to remind mine, "hey, I did not do it", gives him pause and things get a little lighter. Sometimes I don't even think they know that they are doing it. Hang in there, today will be better. Hugs

Susan I do miss him, especially when it is a normal occurrence. I do relish the quiet at times too though. So it can work both ways for me.
Kathryn I hate when the hub has a bad day too. I always tell him remember who you are mad at. He just says "I know I know" All we can do is try and make them feel better.

Had my final in accounting this morning and now that it is over I have no school until next year. Right now I am sitting in the Toyota store while my dad has the tires on his car looked at. Once we are done here we are going to get some lunch

2:44 p.m. EST Was feeling lazy today, so I called and rescheduled the appointment to January. I must call soon to do the insurance thing so I have it by then.

7:46 PM. I thought I posted in this thread earlier today, but I guess I didn't. Making tacos for Mark and taco salad for me. I got outside and moved all of the fallen tree limbs from the front yard. I finished jut as Mark pulled up. Way more and bigger than I thought. The yard looks much better. Landlord is going to have someone pick them up. Been in a funk today, actually. Hopefully some reading and coffee will cheer me up.
8:58 p.m. Finished editing the novel I've been working on; now I have a shorter work to do.
8:59pm. Very long day at work. The entire EMR system for our network, crashed today. That means the hospital, and all the satellite physician offices. Nothing was working for 5+ hours. Which means; tomorrow will be hell-in-a-hand-basket! I wanna stay home! :(
12.36 PM About to have my lunch break and try to read a bit more of Cujo. I am not feeling so great today, I could quite easily have stayed in bed this morning and slept the day away I think! I'm hoping the afternoon doesn't pass too slowly.Kathryn, good work getting your yard cleared up, sounds like it was a big job!

10:10 pm-found out one of my relatives that was coming to visit from out of state for the holidays can't make it because her husband was told he has to cover for someone who got hurt on the job :(Kathryn & Michelle- hope you're both feeling better

7:47a.m. Eating breakfast. Finished chatting with my hubby. About to bag 7 dozen cookies for my job's holiday fundraiser. (I baked for our gourmet shop.) Hopefully all of our homes participating in the Holiday Home Tour are all decked out for Christmas! Can't wait...all ready for volunteering for our Holiday Gift Shop! I hope we come out positive this year for all of the families in our community. Everyone needs a little help and understanding.
10:59 AM. Making a list of the things I need to go out and do today. Mark took my car again, (I guess he's just enjoying driving it, lol), so I get to drive his big truck around. Thank goodness they are some quick errands so I can come back home and be warm. I think I will read for a bit, do my workout, then get ready to go. I would love to just be able to come home and read afterwards. :)
3:51 p.m. EST Feeling incredibly lazy today. Not sure if I'll read or watch Star Trek; I guess I'll see.
10.50 AM Thank goodness it's Friday!!! Only one more week of work before the Christmas break. I'm planning on doing zilch when I get home from work tonight... my butt, on the couch, with my book and a glass of wine - bring on 5.30 PM! It's going to be a busy weekend. I need to do lots of cooking and cleaning tomorrow as we're having people over for lunch on Sunday. I'm going to do Oaxacan-style peanuts, guacamole, salsa, tequila and lime olives and a bean dip for starters, then albondingas, slow cooked spicy leg of lamb, two types of rice and a green salad for mains. Oh and a strawberry margarita cheesecake for dessert! Yummm can't wait!

10:13 PM. SO glad tomorrow is Friday. Well, I'd be happier if it was Friday night already. My husband said tomorrow is NOT going to be a good day at work. Say a prayer for him, if you all don't mind. He's so sweet and loving, and just the best person, I hate to see him having a bad week. Anyways, I went and ran my errands. I bought our 2013 Christmas tree ornament, picked up the pictures for our Christmas cards, and came home and wrote them all out, addressed them, stamped them, and put them in the mailbox. Mark's family is HUGE, and mine is small, so I spend 75% of the time writing cards for his family. haha! I also talked to my MIL (mother-in-law) for a bit because I had to verify an address and tell her I'm going to mail their Christmas gifts next week. Mark ate a big snack after work, so he wasn't hungry for dinner. I ended up having a bowl of oatmeal, and we watched Project Runway. I am about to heat up some coffee and get to reading. I need to catch up with Janie on our buddy read. haha!!!
