@ Jordan: sorry to hear about your breakup. Hang in there, Hon.
2:56PM Checking into to GR then gonna read, then do dinner! (Thanks Chris and Rachel. She was a very special girl.)
10:49PM and my wife and I are relaxing on the couch, watching TV and doing our own things. It is so wonderful that we can be so happy just being with each other. I'll get some reading done when we turn in for the night, but currently enjoying just relaxing.
Sorry to hear about your break up Jordan, that sucks :( Hope you are going ok xxAlso, sorry to hear about your pup Janie, that is so sad. I fear the day I lose one of my pets, they really are like family xx
That is awesome Chris - my husband and I are a bit like that, and I agree with you that it is wonderful that you can just enjoy each others company.
It's 6.32pm here. First day I've been home in a long time. Have had a lovely Christmas break with family and friends but it's nice to be relaxing in my own home again. I've had a nice day pottering around the house and reading. I now need to stop being lazy and go cook some dinner!
Thankyou Michelle, my reading and some chocolate, and everyones nice comments are helping me through it so ill be fine :) xx9:00am making breakfast and going to curl up and read with some cereal and coffee listening to the rain
Sounds beautiful! I don't like winter but there's something comforting about curling up with a blanket and book while its raining outside. I hope things get easier for you xo
It's 10:17am and I'm spending a lazy morning drinking coffee and checking out GR. Hub is taking pictures of the puppy in the snow. Looking forward to some new library books today. It's a great day to stay inside and cuddle up under my quilt (made by my great-grandmother) with something good to read.
10:36 AM. Slept in a bit, about to make some breakfast for Mark and me, and we're going shopping! We've got gift cards burning holes in our pockets! haha!
1:35 pm. Relaxing and reading. Trying to decide if I want to go to the hair salon before it starts to snow.
9:37pm ET. Drinking a margarita, chillin' with Peanut (my cat) and enjoying the aroma of my hubby's homemade cupcakes.. :Dmy son turns 17 tomorrow... damn, i'm old. :/

I sure did. Ran in and ran out with a hair bonnet on straight into my car. I didnt want to go tomorrow because of the New Year's Eve crowd.
8:49PM Just got back to GR, had a nice day out saw my grand blessing for a few minutes today. Will have him tomorrow. Gonna read a bit I think. (Alondra don't feel to old, mu oldest is 24, my youngest is 14.)
9:52 Sitting her with my daughters and trying to figure out why are we watching the 21st version of the Omen. I need to be reading.
8:55 PM. Waiting on homemade potato soup to be finished. Had a great day out with my love. We went to two wood-working stores because that is his hobby, and to two bookstores because that is my hobby. He found me several King hardbacks today. Think we're going to watch a movie with our sweet baby kitties with a warm fire. :)
Alondra, Janie, and Veronica-Going to pay all of you a compliment: None of you look old enough to have kids that old. I'm very serious.

bwahahaha ... i hear you on that one! :D
@Janie; you have at least 10 years before the 14 yr old stays gone. .... you know they always come back.. like colds. ehhehehe...

Haha!! :) By the way, I meant to say this at Christmas to you...I hope you weren't a cheater-peeker and looked at your gifts ahead of time. :) hahahhaha
So my phone has been going crazy with notifications for this discussion so I thought I'd see what all the chatter was about. Kathryn, I made homemade baked potato soup tonight too and it was delicious. I will also agree that none of you look old enough to have kids that old. My oldest is 3 and I'm 29. It is 9:07PM and my wife and I just finished dinner (late for us) and are watching a movie enjoying my day off.
No no no, lol!!! I am 29 and my boy is 3. But what you can't see in my picture is the amount of grey creeping in on the sides. I know I'm young and I will tell myself that for as long as I believe it. ;-)

hhahahaha... cheater-peeker!! why does that still make me laugh?? ...hehehehe
I'm 27, (will be 28 in a few weeks), and I am still a little unsure of having kids at my age. I still feel too young. My husband is 35, and he feels too old. hahahaha
ROFL Litterally, you guys CRACK me up. All of us old ladies rock, we all know it!!! HEHE! But really thanks for all those compliments floating around in here! Love it! Love all of you, you always make my day brighter! (P.S. All you youngins rock too! And happy birthday to your son Alondra!)

10:11AM Just got done cleaning my daughters room and started her laundry. I am annoyed that she is 14 and still does not keep her room cleaned. *sigh*
Now here on GR checking in. Good Morning everyone!
Now here on GR checking in. Good Morning everyone!
10:40 AM. Sneezing and waiting on cinnamon rolls to finish cooking and coffee to finish brewing. Not sure what we are doing today, but I hope it is something fun with my love. Hope to read today, too. Janie-I think having a messy room is just a 14 year old thing. I cleaned my room.....every once in a while. Then, all of a sudden when I was about 15, I started to become OCD about my room and it was pretty much spotless all through high school, college, and still is. Hopefully she'll grow out of it.
4:43pm curled up at my nans in her armchair with a cappuccino and box of chocolates with a book, my nan always spoils me:D
It's 11:47am and I've got you all beat--my baby is 29 and my older son is 34! And I don't even have any grandchildren yet! (sigh) I'm hanging out on GR and getting ready to watch football. Feeling my age today. (On the other hand, my puppy is only 6 months old!)
I'm jealous Jordan that sounds great. Although I would have to have a bowl of popcorn or chips instead of the chocolate. I like salty more than sweet these days. 10:51AM back at work, ready for a long day. Sundays are always slow and drawn out. Hope to get a little reading in, and we go to our last Christmas celebration tonight. Finally this holiday is over. My 3 year old thinks he should get presents everyday now. This is a tantrum waiting to happen.

I agree :D
I love popcorn but all my nan had was chocolate, I just like anything that's bad for me which isn't the best for me!
10.45pm. Chilling watching The Walking Dead s2 after wrapping the last of my christmas presents (my eldest son lives with his dad and we are having christmas tomorrow) and listening to the wind howling outside as well as my 5month old snoring in his cot next to me :D
10:36AM and it's SNOWING!!! Firs actual snow of the season for us and we are expected to get up to 3 inches by tomorrow. Stuck at work but we close early today. Going to enjoy New Years Eve with my family, with a fire, and some party foods. My wife and I got a new puzzle for Christmas and we can't wait to put it together tonight while watching movies or a tv show marathon. Happy New Year everyone!!!
