8:48 AM. Eating cereal, and going to start my new read. I have several things to do around the house today, and I need to finish wrapping everything.

2:12 p.m catching up after being to busy shopping this weekend to get online.
2:34 pm. About to leave for work :/
5:37 PM. Just finished doing the dishes, wrapping all of the Christmas gifts and putting them under the tree, and am about to work out. Also thinking about when I should do my "Morning Pages" writing.
6:41 Just walked in from work. Checking GR while dinner is being heated up
5:42 PM and I'm cooking dinner. Making my homemade Spaghetti sauce. Got a good bit of reading done today on my day off. Didn't make it to the library, but it was a nice day anyway.
11:43pm just woken up with a pounding head and now can't get back to sleep:(

It's 8:32pm here and I just got off the phone with my younger son who is in graduate school in Cleveland. It's such a joy to talk to him! Looking forward to his Christmas visit. I feel a long stretch of reading coming on tonight.

Terri and Chris, the best way for me to tell you is for you to watch this clip: http://juliacameronlive.com/basic-too...It's not a long clip, but it explains what it is by the person who thought of the idea. I used to write a lot, from eighth grade until about the end of my undergrad degree studies. Then, once I got into graduate school, I really haven't written anything. I want to get back into it, and I heard about this from a friend, so I looked up the author and watched her video. It's a very interesting concept and idea. Hope it inspires you both, if you are writers. :)

12:43am. Thanks, Kathryn--that was really interesting and helpful. It sounds like something I'd like to do. I used to keep a journal but got out of the habit the past couple of years. I'm no artist, but I used to do some drawing as well. I think it's good to have creative outlets. It's especially good for me because I'm essentially home bound and I crave intellectual stimulation.

Thank you Kathryn and Terri :)Placement is something I have to do for college, as I'm doing a childcare course I get to go into a school of my choice once a week and then do a few two week block periods there to get experiance with children. Hope this clears it up!
Thanks, Jordan! I think working with kids is really cool and it must be especially challenging in view of what's been happening lately.

No problem! It is really challenging as the children I work with really struggle with everything but having someone working one to one with them which obviously the teacher can't do really helps them work better, but it's really rewarding when they can do something and get so excited!:)

It's 6:25am and I pulled an all-nighter. Enjoying my morning coffee and chatting with hub as he gets ready for work and gives the puppy bites of his cereal, strawberries, and bagel (puppy's in heaven). I feel like it's going to be a good day. I may nap later.
Terri your life sounds amazing, want to trade?!I'm so sleepy. It's only 10.54 but I've wasted the whole night away on Goodreads and have read nothing... I believe that's quite ironic! Will have to set my alarm an hour early to wake up.

8:50 AM. Good morning, everyone! About to get some breakfast and read more in Wintergirls. So far, I am liking it. Need to do a lot of laundry today. Also, as I eat breakfast, I'm going to do my Morning Pages exercise.

Still in the upper 50s here but it is supposed to get cold tomorrow, and we might get snow for Christmas!!! Hate to drive in it but it would be fun to have a white Christmas.
5:09 PM. Have done almost all of the laundry, read quite a bit in my book, and now I'm about to workout. Will probably finish Wintergirls tonight. I think soup and grilled cheese is dinner tonight....maybe?
6:37pm. Just finished up cleaning after dinner. Hub watching news and I'm about to read. I just finished a book so I'm not sure what to read next. I have several possibilities. Hope to retire early tonight to make up for last night. (Kathryn, I started Morning Pages today! Hope to stick with it. I may have to end up doing it on the computer. I fractured my wrist in August and it didn't heal right so I have trouble writing.)
6:12 PM. Just finished working out, and am happy my sweet husband is home. :) About to get cleaned up, read, cook dinner, and probably finish my book. (Terri-I am so glad you decided to do Morning Pages! I did my second one today, and it gets a little easier to write three pages. Hope you stick with it! :))
It's 6:13PM and I am still at work trying to get through the rest of my shift, quick stop at the store after work, (Got to love holiday hours)then home to watch some of our shows that are on while I work then off to bed with a book. Kathryn, I am going to start that Morning Pages activity after the first of the year. My New Years Resolution is to finish something I have already started to write and this might just help. Thanks for sharing this.
4:16pm and I am enjoying a coffee while my kids decorate the tree.

It's 11:17am and I'm back on GR. Trying to decide what to have for lunch. Thinking of a sandwich on some homemade bread I made. I have the whole afternoon to read! (YAY for Christmas, can't wait!)

2:57 PM. About to throw a load of laundry in the washer, then get in a really good, solid workout. Also, like Rachel, trying to think of a short story to read before I start Rosemary's Baby.
