I really hit the jackpot at the local Savers store on Saturday! For under $30 I got... hardcover copies of Raymond E Feist Exile's Return, SK's Pet Sematary, Bag of Bones, Needful Things, Desperation and The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. Also, in paperback (condition almost like new) The Talisman (which is great because my old copy is falling apart), The Bachmann Books and Anne Rice The Tale of the Body Thief. There were so many more good books there but I couldn't carry them all. I may go back tonight!
A manga in japanese that I have yet to translate. Children of magic and The den of shadows quartet. All for a dollar at my local library book sell. ^.^
I love ghost stories Dan. I just downloaded a free ghost story book off of Amazon for my kindle app.
Ok got some new books today! YAY! I am very happy, and I only spent $7
The Lost Symbol
Lock and Key
Dear John
The Lucky One
The Guardian
The Rescue
A Bend in the Road

Thanks Cassie, I have not read him yet but loved a couple of the movies so I figured this sale was a good time to start with his works. A romance author without all the obscene sex scenes. Looking forward to them all.

Well I didn't buy it but the hubby just purchased me the second book to The infernal devices series. I kinda got a sneak peek of what it was about and gave up because it didn't look like the lead character was going to fall for my guy. Shallow I know. But having taken a sneak peek at the newly released Clockwork princess I changed my mind. On owning it....I was still going to read it. It just got bumped down on my reading list. I'm not a book snob lol
Jessie, my hub read the Mortal Instruments and he thought those were very good. Apparently the Infernal devises is a prequel story to those? That's what he read anyway. We do plan on getting the Infernal devises too, just not sure when.
Yes the infernal Devices is the prequel to Mortal instruments. Set more in the late 1800's early 1900's I believe and that's why I enjoy them so much. I might move on to the Mortal instruments when I finish Infernal Devices but for right now I am enjoying these. They are definitely worth the read
Awesome, glad to hear that. I have so many series I want to read and WOW it blows my mind when I think how many! Then wonder how I am gonna read them all!
I know the feeling. I keep adding new series to the list. I've been making a mental list of what comes next. I just finished one and am planning to start another.
Yea I found a new one I wanna read to, that was advertised here at GR. It is the Eve series by Anna Carey.

I have only bought
everything else has been a library epub or loan : ) or and I have bought some ebooks on kobo and amazon as well.
I've bought none lately but with my cousin moving into her new house she has promised me a box full of books :x
I have not bought new books in about 3 weeks. And I am needing a fix real bad! But you know sometimes those other things in life kinda jump in the way like house payment car payment and so on...lol
Oh I understand that feeling. That's why it surprised me when I was in the store the other day and found a copy of a book I really wanted to read. I knew I couldn't afford It at the time and was debating on hiding it and coming back later XD...yes I have done this. When my hubby reached passed me and grabbed it. He's a sweetie when he wants to be.
