though author central tends to be a bit behind the product page, so it may not be possible to attach it yet...

It's obvious from the product descripton that you are all authors. I don't think they can quibble. As to whether they'll bother...?
Ok I tried, officially no unless you are one of the highlighted authors but I did email them as ask if it can be linked to the author pages. I will report back when they reply.
i think it is probably more important that amazon concentrates on getting the book up for sale rather than tinkering with who it links to where. maybe leave bombarding them with that stuff until it has gone live!
Yup, just unclick or use the edit link. Others who've clicked it can unclick it and it will disappear."
So, do you mean I need to vote down the other jonathan hill product? I did and it sent it to the end of the list of jonathan hill tags, but it's still there?
I've been told the weather ruined the harvest this year. Maybe there is going to be a world shortage of eInk.
You just need to remove your name from your list of tags on the Salmagundi product page - which you can do either by unclicking the tag or editing it (deleting it) via the edit link next to the tag box. Then anyone else who has clicked it will need to the same.

Andrews (GoodReads Author) wrote: "You just need to remove your name from your list of tags on the Salmagundi product page - which you can do either by unclicking the tag or editing it (deleting it) via the edit link next to the tag..."But then I won't be tagged at all on the book? Sorry if I'm being thick.
Stupidity is catching;) I am supposed to be writing but I keep going and looking if the book is ready.
Oh yes, DM answered my query then Andy Barrett's in the same post. I'm cracking up. Step away from the computer, Jonathan, just step away..
Simon (Highwayman) wrote: "I thought it was a case of "the more tags the better""It is - I think conversations were crossing!
Right, I have no more questions. I will link to the book from my blog tomorrow when I'm fresh. Phew, what a day!
Now I'm confused ;)Simon - my original point was that you can only add/agree 15 terms, so you'd waste a vote on an author name because you'd probably be the only person in such a category...thus "voting up" would serve no purpose.
Unless perhaps you have a very common name! Like Rosen Trevithick, or something like that ;)
Ignite wrote: "I hope we're both on sale by then, Jonathan!"So do I!
There should be a degree course for all this tagging, liking, uploading business ;)
I think I'm OK now though. Just as long as no-one thinks I wrote the 1-star radio book!
I'm bailing out now - night night. Too late to promote it. I'll start in the morning with a nude vicar!
Ignite wrote: "I'm bailing out now - night night. Too late to promote it. I'll start in the morning with a nude vicar!"Is it the same nude vicar as last time, or a new one. Do you have access to a supply of nude vicars?
I have tweeted I've bought it. As I'm followed by about half a dozen people and a dog, it may not lead to a huge stampede to buy...I can see a day ahead putting off real work whilst reading instead
I'm very disappointed that my name has been omitted from the alphabetical list of contributors on the product description. You'll all appreciate that I shan't be doing any promotion of the book whatsoever until this has been rectified.
Woohoo!Just bought my copy!
Yes, I'm sure your name, Andrew, will be added as soon as someone sees the message.
Thanks for everyone's hard work in this project. I feel proud to be involved!
And just checked - Marc's book and my book now have prices, so we won't be requiring lunch today, Ignite.
Andrew wrote: "I'm very disappointed that my name has been omitted from the alphabetical list of contributors on the product description. I've asked Darren to change it.
I can't pretend for a minute that I'm not very, very, very disappointed. I'm a low profile writer to the point of utter invisibility and I was really hoping that this project would give me some desperately needed exposure. Instead, my name's nowhere to be seen on the product page during the initial release. I will download the updated version later on, but I'd lay good odds no one else will bother.Thank you for your PMs, though, and I look forward to this being rectified as soon as possible. For all the good it'll do.
Andrew, I completely understand your disappointment and I'm also completely sure that Ignite is mortified by the error.

You going on a hunger strike to promote sales too Jonathan? ;-)
Well done everyone! This looks brilliant! (just bought it and will promote it to the three people who occasionally glance at my blog - sadly no dog!).
I've been meaning to ask: is there any way for us to get this on our goodreads author pages??? It might give it a little more exposure.

Of course ;)
Then I plan to scale the walls of Buckingham Palace later.
I'll give ASS a shout out too!
