That would be me. Why - did you design it?

message 259: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments She did indeed - she might do commisions if you sidle up nicely!

message 260: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments It's simple, bright, and stands out! Perfect.

message 261: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments Why have I just started two books? I wanna read ASS now!

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Marc's book is up with no pricing too. Have you noticed they say published 15th Oct? Pants on fire!

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Helpfully facebook hates me this evening so I possibly have 3 of the "shares" on it or none:)

message 268: by Simon (Highwayman) (last edited Oct 17, 2012 10:44AM) (new)

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments Already 8 'liked' on Amazon.

You can also share by facebook, twitter and google +

at

Goodness only knows what it all means :}

Special thanks for the links above. DM has great advice :

http://www.writers-and-publishers.com...

and its good to see a blog at BIF :

http://britishindiefiction.blogspot.c...

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments Thanks, Simon. Maybe we could all add our own author names to the tags as a single person is restricted to adding 15 tags max. (not sure what it is if you're married ;) )

message 270: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Well I posted on my page and my author page.

message 271: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments I pinned as well. I think I may have tagged myself twice

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments I wouldn't start sharing it until the price is up on the UK site..

message 273: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments No. Cornelius waitied 3 days for the price to go up. He had to republish it in the end.

message 274: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Well I am not sure it went anyway

message 275: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Oh haha I got 3 so I killed 2

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments Gingerlilly has bought it from .com

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments $1.66

message 278: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments How? Does it show a price if you're in dot com-land?

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments When you search, it shows the price but because we can't buy from the UK when you go to the page it doesn't

message 280: by D.M. Andrews (author) (last edited Oct 17, 2012 11:30AM) (new)

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments Um .. we don't need to "agree" (tick box of) author names, as the agreement moves the book up through that tag category. So unless there are lots of authors with your name....save the tick for something else ;)

message 281: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Hmm I have never searched my name to see if there is anyone else with my name.

Oh I will put an "also by" link in my second book if I ever get it finished.

message 282: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Barrett | 1537 comments Anyone know how to untag? I've added my name in there, but since I have been lucky enough to be included in the list of contributors on the front page, I'd like to untag myself so that 'slot' becomes available to someone else.

message 283: by Jonathan (last edited Oct 17, 2012 11:46AM) (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments I think you can click on 'Your Tags' then Pick the one you want to delete and it comes up with options.
How do I tag my name - just type it in the box?

message 284: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Yes Jonathan. I think the thing is, Andy tagged his name, then someone must have 'agreed' with all the tags so he can remove his own but someone else needs to remove their tag from his name. I think.

Stephen Livingston | 38 comments I've liked and tagged both UK and US sites.
When will it be available to buy?

message 286: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Barrett | 1537 comments Ah righto, I may have done it then. I'm in my tags and ASS isn't in the list, so maybe everything's sorted now, thank you.

message 287: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Stephen wrote: "I've liked and tagged both UK and US sites.

When Amazon gets round to finishing the upload Stephen. There are two of our authors in the same boat. The wheels of Amazon grind very slowly!

message 288: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Lol, no ASS for you.

message 289: by Ian (new)

Ian Ellis | 93 comments I added my name. This that OK?

message 290: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Certainly is Ian - you are one of the Featured Ones!

message 291: by Ian (new)

Ian Ellis | 93 comments This is rather exciting.

message 292: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Great, isn't it? A real group effort.

message 293: by Philip (new)

Philip Whiteland | 3394 comments Once it is published for good and all, I promise to throw off my Cloak of Invisibility and promote it for all it's worth!

message 294: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments That's my boy! (I wonder what it's worth?)

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments No, you don't need it to be unique. Keep what the name on your book covers is.

Yup, just unclick or use the edit link. Others who've clicked it can unclick it and it will disappear.

message 296: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments Hehe.

message 297: by Michael (new)

Michael Brookes (technohippy) Can we add this to our Amazon author sites? Or does that mess with the list already there?

message 298: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Dunno. DM is the fount of all knowledge. I bow to his expertise and experience (up to a point - hehe!)

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments I've no idea - I'm guessing only the highlighted authors can do it. You can always go in to Author Central and try :)

message 300: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 1608 comments You might be able to ask support on amazon to do it.
Whether they will I have no idea.
