Sounds like a plan. I am trying really hard to finish this book. I should be done tonight.

I just finished the book ladies. Jesus Christ that was emotional. I am a blubbering mess. This book has to be my favorite in the series.

The one thing that disappointed me in this book was the storyline with McGrath. It seemed that he wad going to be the major player in this book. I had no idea the book eas going to take the turn it did.

How did you ladies feel about it?

I agree Marcella, I didn't get why they didn't play up the McGrath story more, and then just leave out the Black Day storyline, it was really random, and I didn't participatory get why it had to happen that way.

Yeah, the McGrath storyline was lacking in every way. For me he never felt like such a threat. God Debbie, the sister what a bitch!! I wanted someone to kick her sorry ass.

Yay!! Glad you liked it. I have to say that it was really a good read. Benny's book is next but it should be here in the spring 2013 so we'll have to read that when it comes out.

In the meantime, Marcella read Knight and Creed :)

Shanna, I haven't read , would you recommend it? I just don't want a copy of Fifty Shades of Gray.

Leea, first I have to ask what did u think of fifty shadeS?

I liked it at first but I read it over a year ago... Then once I had time to think about the book, I just didn't like the way Anna was treated.

I think i'm torn because for me there are so many better written books out there.

I was surprised that the threat to them was a random disturbed teenaged kid. I thought that was a little weak.

Debbie was a malor bitch. She was ruining lives because she was jealous of Dusty and Mike. What are you 5?!

The part with Fin breaking up with Reesee broke my heart. I loved how Dusty told him he wasn't going to be one of those assholes...not on her watch. That was great. I felt Fin's pain when I was reading why he broke up with her. I just melted.

I know it was so emotional during the break (even though it did only last 30 mins) and when he was explaining that he wanted her to be better than him, I was tearing up the entire time. I knew her being accepted into the school for gifted children would've been a problem for them. I was kinda hoping to read one of her books or an excerpt or something (like the fact that in the Rock Chicks series (view spoiler)[ Janine is the author of the Rock Chick books and she's always a background character) (hide spoiler)] but I loved their wedding, and the gift Fin gave her, what was her gift to him? (did i miss it?)

That was a short breakup but it was a doosey. The tears were flowing freely that time. Geez I was a mess. I just loved him for wanting that for Reesee. He could have handled it better.

I agree with you on the Rock Chick thing.

I don't think they mentioned her gift to him.

I wonder if the person you're talking about from the Rock Chicks with get a HEA?

I don't remember KA telling us what Reecee got Fin. I cried at the break up too... so sweet but broke my heart.

Do you think KA plans to do a book on that person? She isn't exactly Rock Chick material.

I don't remember it either Leea. Although I thought Reesee made a mention of getting him something but never stated what it was. I need to skim that part again.

What did you ladies think of the father/daughter moment between Mike and Reessee before her wedding. Talk about balling like a baby.

Just a tip, I'd almost say to skip book 1 because it's not nearly as good as books 2 and 3 (the entire vibe is different). Books 1 and 2 aren't really connected, other than the two characters are brothers. The story itself is not a continuation of the book before.

I'm really enjoying wild card, its a lot deeper than I thought it would be. Whenever you get a chance you should check it out.

Yeah, it's good so far. I'm about 15% into it. She has another book out so maybe that's why people are reading it.

Mine was awesome (we don't celebrate it here, but my family decided to, so I had to work and cook, but it was still fun)
