I just got home and started reading. It is in the beginning of Chapter 12. I just read it. This should be interesting. I will read as much as I can tonight so I can try and keep up with you ladies.

I also have to read , which I am reading with Sandra and the little buggar that she is is already finished with the book and I haven't even started it.

Ok Leea my response is coming from a different perspective, I finished, adn I think you should finish before you read this. 100% (view spoiler)[ I'm done, but I don't want to taint you guys, its not so much that it was the same KA, I don't mind that, its just that, I felt the story was incomplete and rushed. I loved these two characters and I saw potential for this story to really develop between, to see her help him exorcise his demons from war and stuff, but that was just skipped over, I was confused about what happened at the end, I think KA wasn't finished with this book, but I loved both of the characters, I just thought so much more could've been done with their story, especially in this series, where KA has gone off script so much with the first two books, but it appears that she was trying to please ppl too much in this one and it fell short. Leea, (view spoiler)[But I NEVER felt this way before, I feel like ok, is he was working through it, then he should at least do that, and talk to his gf about the problems, or his dreams and stuff, also what the hell happened to the guy who was messing with Knight? I felt the book needed another 100 pages and it would've been perfect. I look at the depth she went into with the first two books, I mean especially creed she practically told their entire story from the age of 6/9. But with Raid, it was so unfinished, I hated it, with eh Colorado Mountains and the Burg, she had such long epic stories, and I was never bored. (hide spoiler)]

Just as long as you don't skim through the whole book. That would be a shame. It seems the men get hotter and hotter with each book. So if you think Lee is hot, just you wait.

What I love is that KA will bring characters into other series so Rock Chicks is kind of a foundation for her books. Yeah, don't skim but they can be long.

I left off on the part where he went nuts on her when she mentioned seeing the picture and he came groveling back to apologize to her.

I was not expecting that from him. I was shocked.

I was but not on that level it really pissed me off. I just think he was so mean...

He really was mean. He was like Jekyll and Hyde. One minute he is so gentle the next he turned violent. Looks like Grams was right...again.

i have to agree with you guys it was hard when he went apeshit. But he came back and he really begged I definately wasnt expecting that from him

That whole ordeal just came out of nowhere. I know he went through some shit when he was in the military but for him to go off like that, just didn't feel right to me.

Ok ladies...I finished the book and I must say that I am a little pissed off at the moment. Shanna I totally agree with you that there needed to be about another 100 pages to this book.

It felt incomplete and I just feel really cheated right now. She didn't do justice to Raid's character and the struggles he went through. I am calling bullsh*t on this one.

Totally agree marcella, I had a hard time rating this book, I mean I love these characters, just love, But the story sucked! And it had real potential.

I don't know but I hope this doesn't ruin some of the other books I'm looking forward too especially Ally's story cause I will be pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is why I gave it 3 stars. If it weren't for the characters I would have given it 1 star. This was such sloppy work on her part. I really don't even know what else to say.

I would have really loved to see what Raid did to Meg because that woman was a serious bitch. I would have to like have read who the guy was that employed Heather and Bodhi, especially since Raid and Creed were after him a while. And I especially would like to have known what Raid did to that guy after what he did to Hanna. I thought it was bullshit how he went hunting then all of a sudden its 3 weeks later and he's home. WTF!

And did he catch the guy? I couldn't tell, it was just like a freaking concept book, it wasn't a full story. I hate this, cause I love those two, and there was so much room for so much story I would've preferred to spend 500 with pages with them instead of 200 pages

I don't know, I wasn't feeling this book. 3 stars was me being very generous. Sucked!!

I think he did get the guy. Well that's the impression I got from the context. This book is baffling to me. I'm almost hoping I'm in some weird dream and that book didn't happen.

I should rephrase my word from dream to nightmare. I was looking forward to this book and I am utterly disappointed with how it turned out. I haven't felt this way since J.R. Ward f*cked up Phury's book.

That would be wise. Ha ha! I have learned to just enjoy the books we read together and read the ones they already have another time. Those books aren't going anywhere. I love buddy reads because I feel it's a great chance to brainstorm or hear a perspective you may not have thought of.

Angie beleive me, I feel the same way, I keep trying to get through my tbr list but it keeps growing, dont worry, buddy reads are always fun, and like Leea said you're always welcome join us, we usually set up a week in advance, so you know to clear ur schedule.
