But my favorite part is when he kisses her goodbye, and it says that if he'd known what would happen next, he'd have kissed her longer. And then, how it says, Lexie gave him a quick glance as he walked away, but if she'd known what would happen next, she'd have watched longer. (I'm paraphrasing here; I can't remember word for word...LOL...I'll get there after enough rereads.) And then when he comes home and tells her to leave, and she does, leaving the money and diamonds behind. My absolute favorite part is when they are on the beach and he tells her that her nightmare was his dream. Ho. Lee. Shit. LOL And then when she gets the call that he was in the accident, right up to the makeup sex. Like I said, I love the whole book. I am an angst lover, and with that scene, KA delivered that to me. In. And they were so made for each other, that was clear, because of how they just fit, Ty need someone like Lexi to add goof to his life, and Lexi needed someone like Ty to give her security and safety which she's never had. They were just the best! But that line on the beach, omg! and when she got back, and she told him the sun rose only when he was in her life, and over the last six weeks, the sun never rose in her life. Just love! Well take it back the burg is pretty emotional, some really heavy stuff there, its the in between the unfinished heroes and colorado mountains...but u'll like them, I can almost guarantee it. But yeah step back into non-KA for a while, and then enter the burg.

I think their connection was so strong, she didn't have a prayer of holding herself from him. I think that their separation through the years made his love for her stronger, and all the love she would have accumulated if she hadn't thought he left her came rushing to her as soon as she found out he didn't just up and leave her. Imagine the betrayal she felt then, thinking Creed had left and having her father essentially 'give' her away, and then the betrayal she feels now, knowing what he did to Creed. No wonder Creed is so insistent she need therapy.
