Little Bee (littlebeesreads) I read it in high school as a freshman (which has been a LONG time ago...I am coming up on my 10 year reunion soon). It was good, and I enjoyed it.

Fumi Hancock (fumihancock) | 3 comments I wish I could list all of the books I rad this year but I have been extremely busy with publishing my own Young Adult Fantasy & Romance Novel: The Adventures of Jewel Cardwell: Hydra's Nest. It is a story based in a unique ambiance not familiar to many ~ South Africa.

I am so stoked that the reviews have been great thus far. My readers are actually seeing themselves transported to South Africa. Mission accomplished. You are welcome to download some pages for your review at: http://www.amazon.com/Fumi-Hancock/e/....

Thank you all.

Tawny Stokes (tawny_stokes) | 4 comments I'm reading book 2 in the Dustlands series by Moira Young. Love it. Blood Red Road, the first book, is #2 on my all time favorite books, so I know I'm going to love this one as well.

I've only read 3 of his books and there's probably a tie between Looking for Alaska and The Fault in our Stars

I will do! Currently 38% through and still enjoying it (mostly for the characters) but it is definitely worlds away from HP - not nearly the same level of imagination! If the characters weren't so amusing and unique, the plot would definitely be lacking.

I kind of figured it would be polar opposite from HP, but she's still awesome so I'd figured giving it a chance would be good lol. I wish she would write another series like HP, even if wasn't connected to it at all!

I just finished reading it. Much to my disappointment, it didn't meet my expectations but as a whole it was a fine book.

I didn't really care for it. It was a forgettable book with a female lead that I didn't click with. But, it was okay.

Now I'm reading Underworld (Abandon Trilogy #2) by Meg Cabot and Flyaway by Helen Landalf

Just started Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) by Rachel Hartman yesterday. The prologue and first chapter were a bit slow, so i had to keep putting it down, but once i got past that..well now i can't put the book down it's amazing!

I'm also reading Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly it's good, but i don't know what to think of it so far.

message 83: by sarah (new)

sarah (hbusarah) I'm reading two books actually (which is quite difficult for me to do but I'm doing it anyways.) I'm reading the fourth book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Series which is good I guess, and The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks which actually gives me the chills :3

message 84: by Paula (new)

Paula (pmhenslow42) | 3 comments Holes by Louis Sachar. It's a good young adult fiction but I wouldn't say it's great. I'm still halfway through so I hope my perception of it changes until then. I'm not going to give away anything about the book since I want people to read it and we can exchange different concepts we have received from the book.

message 85: by Jillyn (new)

I just finished reading Poison Princess. It was kind of confusing at first but it totally made up for it in the end.

Paula (pmhenslow42) | 3 comments I just finished A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle a few hours ago. It's so dreamy and the words and description of the book are so believable I felt as if I was Meg herself. I also had tears streaming from my eyes every few chapters.

message 100: by Anne (new)

Anne | 2 comments I am currently reading Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer so far, I'm having a great time reading it. It's like reading Awkward again, which is one of my favorites.
