1038 gone. 1039 was an Unknown book that someone rescued and accidentally removed the ASIN from. No merge needed.

Somehow when I entered my book I missed uploading the cover, then when I uploaded the cover it put the entire book in a second time, minus the ASIN number. I figured out how to more the ASIN number over.I can't figure out how to delete the book record that has no cover. I've tried combining it and can't do that either! I read elsewhere on this forum that we are to not delete books, but it looks like here *someone* can do it, but probably not me. :)

Just to be sure, it was only published as a Kindle edition, correct?
Yes, it was only published as a Kindle edition at this point.I tried to merge the duplicate earlier and it didn't work. When I clicked "combine" over by other editions, I had only one to check to "choose" but when I tried to combine it told me I had to combine at least 2 books. Not sure what I was doing wrong. If you'll let me know, maybe I can get it right next time. :)

That's because they were already combined. If there are uncombined works, each will have it's own checkbox. Combining is vastly different from merging. When we combine it means we link two (or more) editions together so that reviews/ratings are able to be seen regardless which edition you're on. You don't lose any editions by this. Second is merging, where we delete one edition, and transfer the reviews to another. At the end of this one edition is lost. Also, merges are done as sparingly as possible.

Ah,so merge and combine are different. Thank you for the explanation and thanks for getting rid of the duplicate for me.

The "Other Editions" section is on a 24-48 hour cache. Give it a day or so.
There were a bunch of no-info duplicates of this main title, but this one has to be deleted by a super:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...

I've tried several times to get #1067, and it's being screwy. Both links time out if I try to delete them, and it's not letting me change the details of either (the log and "Other editions" say it worked, the book page and edit page say it didn't).Someone else'll need to zap it.
Sooo... 1067. I just sent the merge request, and although it has timed out we'll see if it goes through. Also Amara, it's weird but the first two times I tried, it wouldn't accept the ASIN. However on the Other Editions page it showed up. ASIN fixed. Hopefully the merge will go through.
1067 is still not merging. It keeps timing out, and just won't go through.
