That being said I was so glad when then ended the show with Rory single. I hate this stigma in Tv shows that everyone has to be paired off at the end. Gilmore Girls was a show about strong independent women. Rory wanted to be a foreign correspondent so just seemed right that she would go off and live all her adventures solo. She was only 22 at the end of the series which (imho) is young to settle down.
I like to think that Rory and Jess met up at Luke and Lorelai's wedding, stayed in regular contact and then maybe got back together 5 years down the line

Never Logan, sooooo glad she didn't get married to him.

true that!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Dean was incredibly controlling and awful. I absolutely hated that Rory got back together with him after cheating with him.
Logan would probably go back to his old ways after they got married. Drinking, blowing off work, cheating on her. I think that Rory wanted to love him more than she actually did.
Tristan!!!
(Ermmm..Okaye.Sorry I just had to get it out. They never had a chance *tear*)

Oh Tristan! Yeah, they never did have a chance. It was such a shame because I love Chad Michael Murray...but Tristan was a jerk for the most part, though I liked him a lot better later on, right before he left.
I have to say Logan. I really liked Jess also, but I guess he was a bit too dangerous for Rory (though he would be perfect for me, ha?). Dean was great for the younger Rory but he was kinda too smalltownboy for the older Rory, who wanted to travel and do big things. Logan was kind of exciting also but responsible in his own way.

That's true, they were very similar personality wise. And I agree, I liked Tristan better than Logan as well

They definitely had chemistry but that chemistry wasn't there when they got together again in season 6 for the book launch. The timing was just always wrong - it was a bit like that for Lorelai as well. Nobody was ever the right guy, at the right time. The men the gilmore girls picked could never seem to be what they needed at the time (maybe with the exception of Dean who hung around faithfully at the start).

Definitely Jess. I found Dean really needy and annoying and I never watched anything about Logan so I don't know if I like him or not.

Team Jess all the way for sure! He was just perfect for her!

Jess, on the other hand, yes he did leave but it was for a good reason. I've always liked both of Jess' characters: the sarcastic yet well-read bad boy & the grown up who became a writer.
Out of all of Rory's relationships Jess was the one who was always there for love.

LOL. Christopher had his chances. Team Luke!

LOL. Christopher had his chances. Team Luke!"
so did LUKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I think they should have gotten together when they met up at his book reading and she was having issues with Logan. I kind of wonder if this is where it was supposed to go but they changed their minds at the last minute or something...

I liked Luke. But I think my favorite was Max. However, if she had married him, the show would have lost a lot.

Milo was probably committed to Heroes by then, so they just wanted to wrap up his character. Too bad Rory didn't dump Logan, though.

wait.....we are talking about a tv show!!?!??!?!

the relationship with dean was cute but i didn't liked his behaviour and actions from season 4 onwards. jess is an interesting character and i liked him a lot, but the worlds rory and jess lived in were too different. logan is perfect. even though he was really spoilt and arrogant in the beginning, he changed while dating rory plus the chemistry was great.

I agree.

Tristan was the only one of Rory's bad boys that I actually liked.

But there really is no competing with Jess. He maintained his complete awesomeness throughout his whole time on the show and even came back with more awesome when he pops back up later on. He was Rory's match in every way. He had the sweet side that Dean brought in and he had the ability to take Rory out of her comfort zone like Logan did all wrapped up into a nice, awesome package.

Dean was a great first boyfriend but it was just puppy love. Jess was a total jerk and needed to get his act together.
Logan changed his ways when it counted!
As for Lorelai...
Team LUKE!
I hated it when she married Chris. I don't even watch that season bc they annoy me. Lol
