I am currently reading, "Lover at Last" book 11 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R. Ward!!I LOVE the WARDens books...been waiting for this book to come out for what seems like FOREVER!! and so far it has not disappointed! She's a great author if you are into paranormal romance. Her vampires in the brotherhood are unlike any other vampire books I've read, I LOVE all her books :)
I am reading Sought. It is the third book in the Kindred Brides series by Evangeline Anderson. It is pretty good so far.
@Stella- The Kindred bride series is great and the fourth book features a black heroine.@Michelle - Oh The Charley Davidson (Grave) series is awesome. Hysterical! The later books get a bit dark, but Charley remains super funny. I am due a re-read on those.
I just finished
and I didn't love, love it like I usually do Laurenston's work. Just about to start
I'm reading
and so far it's a "I can't stop reading, argh!" type of book. It's so funny. I like it much better than everyone else's favorite
. Mainly because it doesn't have that bad ass little boy in it that I can't decide needs time out, the naughty chair, or a good 'ol ass whuppin. lol

...Well at least that 15 minute book helps with my 2013 reading goal. I was a book off track.
I'm currently trying to get through Promises in Death by J.D. Robb, Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs, and About That Night by Julie James.

I'm also a big UF fan too. ;)

Robin, I really like Laurell K. Hamilton but prefer her fairy series over Anita Blake. The general consensus of that series is everything's awesome until
. I personally loved it up to
, hated the next two books, and got into it again with
.

Michelle, someone in another group was soliciting reviewers and I was bored without anything to read so I volunteered. It was so good! I really liked this writers voice. Anyone into PNR/UF should give it chance. I'm like all fangirl because happy to find a new author to read.

If we rated other things similarly than I can trust we are on the same wavelength. Some of my favorite review sites (Dear Author, Mrsgiggles.com) are funny but we never like the same books. I've just become comfortable knowing my literary tastes are obviously plebian. lol

LOL, I feel that way about my literary tastes at times too. That's a good idea to do the comparison. I honestly don't know what I did before goodreads. I'm becoming so dependent I don't know how to find books on my own anymore : )
I'm understand how y'all feel. I get a lot of good recommeendations from on here and I've come to rely on this group too! :)

I have started exploring the dark reads sub-genre. Right now I'm reading Aleatha Romig's
because of the buzz it's been getting. The author is losing me because she keeps wussing out in her scenes. If you are going to explore such a dark subject you shouldn't do cut away scenes because it looses it's impact.
were so scary because they just went there. I'm only 30% in so far. Hopefully it gets better.
I am still reading
, been a bit slow, but I hope to complete it soon. It is turning out to a good book :)
I am currently readingFifty Shades of Grey which is taking me forever to get through because I just don't want to read it. I am also reading Pretty When She Dies and Vampire Shift.Vampire Shift is sooooooo freaking good that everything else is going to the back burner until I finish it. It is the first in a series and so different than most of the vampire/paranormal books I usually read.

Thanks for giving me another PNR/UF to check out
I just finished

I'm currently reading Mile high from the (up in the air) series. flight attendant bianca and the oh so beautiful and dominating Mr. Cavendish. I enjoyed the first book better. this second book is really lacking something...
Okay I finally finished
and have to give it up...this book is actually crazy good. I think my annoyance really stemmed from this being touted as erotica. It's really a psychological thriller. All the sex is more implied versus detailed. My review was "The worst book I couldn't put down".

I've read that and deemed it a book you hate to love. It reallyy screws with your mind. I got so mad so many times while reading it...I felt like throwing my kindle down and stomping it--but I kept on reading because it was really intriguing and addictive (LOL)
Now I strongly suggest you read Truth--Wow! Wanna talk about some twists and turns to events and people? That one definitely had me asking WTH?

Cricket, all these characters are so flawed in real ways. It makes them very relatable. I'm barely half way in, hating everyone except Jade, but have to know what happens.

"Cricket, It just finished and only can say is "whew...what a ride". It was good but so dramatic. A couple of these characters reminded me of people in real life that I don't like that much. I was expecting a romance but got terry mcmillianish.
I need a breather before starting the second book so going back to real crazy town with
