An academic by trade but a reader by birth. Taught by my father from a young age to love fantasy, academia almost kicked the love out of me until D&D and one friend let me rediscover reading for pleasure.
I am LGBT+ person who primarily reads fantasy (adult and some YA), romance/smut, and the occasional sci-fi and historical fiction. I prefer queer and mlm stories, but really will read anything with well written characters.
