I live in rural Pennsylvania because I'd spent most of my life in Philadelphia and hated it. Now I'm what passes for me as happy. Chainsaw wood and read the news online. Got a Kindle so I won't worry about dropping my favorite books in the bathtub, and I can read all of the 19th century for free. Dropped the Kindle in the bathtub (jdamn!).
Like almost all music except big bands, opera, Latin and rap, yet go days on end listening to nothing but crickets. I wish I'd picked up that used copy of "The History of Meat" put out by either Armour or Swift in 1915, with color plates. Have a foot-high statue of The Tick given to me by my daughter when she was 10. It spouts various Tick phrases like "Spoon!" when you press the button on the back and is still running on the same battery after 20 years, proving the power of the world's greatest arachnid superhero.
Held a Half-Gross birthday party when I turned 72. Might just cook me up a Filipino box-spring hog....more
