Although I read some fiction, I find that it doesn't hold my attention. My interests vary from one week to the next. I love to read about quantum physics, but at a layperson's level. Memoirs are my favorite when I read for enjoyment. Because I always need motivation, I love to read books that motivate me to do better, be better and accomplish more. As an only child, books were my friends and there were always plenty in the school library or the small library in the little town where I was born. I always tell someone who is a non-reader that they just haven't read the right book - yet. That one book is waiting for them and when they read it they will be hooked on reading for life. ...more
