Hello! Just read your post A Shameful Secret? and you are not alone in preferring to read on a Kindle. I still love bookstores but the portability and consistent size and weight of reading on a Kindle, tablet or phone is surprisingly easier. A Kindle book is easier to read one-handed and much easier to travel.

It is, isn't it? and we're not alone either. Everyone had a great deal to say, but I think in the end, Kindle was winning. I particularly loved the post from the lady who spent some time stabbing at a word in her book waiting for the definition to come up!

I’ve finished reading ‘Another Time Another Place’ - what a rollercoaster! I don’t want to say too much in case of spoilers but I had to finish this book in one sitting as I absolutely had to find out whether my suspicions were correct. Such heartbreak too mixed with horror and humour. We must be getting to the end of Max’s story though - I don’t think she will be able to cope with much more physically or mentally?

Hi Jodi - I have read 7 of the Chronicles books and I've bought Doing Time recently and I just wondered, is it quite "stand alone" as I haven't finished the Chronicles series yet. Also, how do you think they differ? I know the new trilogy is about the Time Police, but is the tone different? Love the books and can't wait to read more. Thanks.

Hi Jodi. I just found your St Mary’s books in 2023 and try to stop myself from reading every book in one month! I’m trying to spread them out over time, as they bring me just pure utter joy! My question, do you have notebooks filled with ideas due to the vast historical subjects to choose from, or is it a brainstorm of your creative mind and then you write one book? Either way, please don’t stop! Thank you!
