Not a question. I just wanted to say thank you. I lost my mom a few years ago…while finding your books around the same time. You have given me the ability to escape from reality and dive into a world of history (which I love so much…minored at University), absolute crazy shenanigans, and a family that is created around you. There are no words that will convey my appreciation for what you have created. Thank you! ?

You are very welcome. So pleased to hear you enjoy my books. They're great fun to write and I'm so pleased people find them fun to read. When I started out I wanted to make St Mary's academics as far removed from the conventional view as possible, so I deliberately made them as bonkers as possible. I worried I'd overdone it slightly but according to an archaeologist friend of mine - I nailed it! Thank you for your question and lovely comments.

Hello Jodi. I'm addicted to your books and very much enjoy reading all your 'themes'. Noting the 'local' connections is that why you named the St Mary's Director 'Edward Bairstow'? Are we likely to have any references made to the English (Yorkshire) composer of the same name whose musical life included York Minster, or any musical elements in your stories? Keep writing, please, your books brighten my life.

Dear Jodi, On multiple occasions you have ripped out my heart stomped on it, used it in a game of kick ball, set it on fire before somehow making everything okay again. Your books are brilliant I have enjoyed all I have read to date and look forward to future musings of history, donkeys and the batty souls who accompany them. Thank you. Do you have a favourite dinosaur? they seem to drop in often.
