So I already asked you a question, but I forgot that I had another one! I am an education major at Ball State University (Muncie, IN, USA). I want to teach middle school or high school English and social studies. I firmly believe that your books would be a wonderful resource for teaching! But also that I might get in trouble. Any thoughts to creating a book or 2 geared towards teens that I could use in the classrm?

Hi Kiah. Thanks for your message. This is a question that comes up every now and then and it's very interesting. I've had several lovely people saying it's a great way to teach their kids history and applauding Max as a role model! Which always makes me wonder who they're comparing her with!!! I understand your reservations, but have you considered any of the short stories? There's very little violence and no sex and they might well be an excellent taster for the series. They're all available on kindle - the audible versions are usually free - and they're all being published in paperback form in the summer. The title will be The Long and the Short Of It. What do you think? Best wishes, Jodi.

Having spent time as an administrative assistant I know that you often make the reservations and send the employees off on adventures while you stay at home, hold down the fort and welcome back the troops but you rarely get to go yourself. The only mention that I can recall of an admin going on one of the “days out” was Mrs. Partridge dodo hunting. Will there ever be a day when Rosy Lee goes with Max on a trip?
