(view spoiler)[Hi Jodi,
I've been wondering about the timelines for both Max's old St Mary's and her new one. Is Isabella was still there, then surely that nasty business in the crutaceous, where she left 4 men to die couldn't have happened? And she probably wouldn't have been on the opposing team at Alexandria? Is that right? Do the two St. Mary's in fact have very different timelines? (hide spoiler)]

Hi Vicky. What a very penetrating question. You're right about Isabella, of course. I've tried, without actually saying so, to give the impression that while the two timelines are different, there are similarities. For instance, one Peterson was injured at Agincourt and then the other one receives a very similar wound at Rouen. And in A Second Chance, Max and Leon swap memories, some of which are shared and some aren't. I did have a long think about this because I didn't want to tie myself down by committing myself to the two timelines either being completely similar or completely different. If that makes sense to you.
Thanks for taking the time to write. I hope this answers your question.
Best wishes, Jodi.

Hi Jodi, I first found you when I downloaded The Nothing Girl a few years ago and love your Elizabeth Cage series (I've a few books of yours on my Christmas list too). You are such a prolific writer I would love to know, if you have a working routine / what inspires you to write? Kind Regards Sally

Hi Jodi - I have read 7 of the Chronicles books and I've bought Doing Time recently and I just wondered, is it quite "stand alone" as I haven't finished the Chronicles series yet. Also, how do you think they differ? I know the new trilogy is about the Time Police, but is the tone different? Love the books and can't wait to read more. Thanks.

I have been thinking of this off and on. I love that Max and Peterson are invested in discovering Markham and all that that entails. I hope they never find out. That being said... is there ever a chance that Markham will tell his own story so that I as the reader will know it and Still always have Max and Peterson searching? (This means from the time he is rescued to the first meeting with Hunter etc.)
