I have been thinking of this off and on. I love that Max and Peterson are invested in discovering Markham and all that that entails. I hope they never find out. That being said... is there ever a chance that Markham will tell his own story so that I as the reader will know it and Still always have Max and Peterson searching? (This means from the time he is rescued to the first meeting with Hunter etc.)

What an excellent question. I hadn't actually considered it but wouldn't the story of his life be interesting. I'm actually working on the story of Smallhope and Pennyroyal at the moment, and I've had some thoughts for an Adrian and Mikey backstory as well but I think I'm going to add Markham to the list. My problem - there just isn't enough time. Take care and best wishes.

I have read your Time Police books and now St Marys books and am enjoying them immensely. Totally brilliant, all of them. I am currently reading An Argumentation of Historians and as usual they are after Clive Ronan. However, Max does not mention to the Time Police that they must not kill Clive because, if I remember rightly Max has already killed him and felt that he looked older. Is that right? Paradox??

Hi Jodi! I just finished Dark Light (loved it) and just wanted to tell you that when I was reading the part with the backstory of Iblis I kept thinking to myself that I wished it was an entire book! What a great story within the book! It's making me ask a question, so I will ask: how are you doing? I only have two books of yours left that I haven't read and it makes me a little sad.
