I can't stop thinking about your book. It's been almost two years and I still find myself remembering the emotional roller coaster that I experienced while reading (actually, listening). It was so amazing to figure out why each character started the fire and then finding that perhaps they did not. So many books that attempt this technique come up with rather "lame" reasons, but yours fit. Any chance of a movie?

This is so kind of you, Nancy. Thank you so much for reaching out and brightening my day. I'm happy to answer that Miracle Creek has been optioned by one of the major studios, and the current plan is to turn it into a limited TV series. You're welcome to sign up on my website (angiekimbooks.com) to receive newsletters. I haven't sent any out yet, haha, but I will definitely send out when there's news about that, as well as about my second novel. Thank you again for your interest!

Hey Angie, I just finished Klara and the Sun and like you absolutely loved the book! Your review nailed it!
How do you feel about the ending? Did " they" disable her so she could not move about the I guess what we call a junk yard? :(
I cannot imagine giving up someone/something so meaningful like this. I am thinking of both Josie and her Mom. I mean how? Like leaving a beloved pet in a parking lot. Heartbreaking!

Hi Angie! I absolutely loved reading "Miracle Creek" it kept me engaged the whole way through. How did your experience as a lawyer help you write the trial part of the novel and make both cases (for and against) so believable? Did you seek help from other lawyers or were the cases the two lawyers presented something you would prepare for an actual case? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

I wanted to thank you for your book. I just finished it and was precepting resident physicians and a patient with cerebral palsy came in needing paperwork done. I right away asked the resident if the patient could communicate? and the resident wasn't sure. I made sure that we referred the patient to a speech language pathologist as it was unclear when the pt was last evaluated. You have made me a better physician!
