The Poison Priestess has been submitted and accepted for the 2013 Endeavour Award, so if it is not on the list it means the list hasn't been updated. And if you cannot find a copy in your local library, just ask the librarian to order a copy for you. Most US librarians will order books from The Silk & Steel Saga if you put in a request. I hope you enjoy the book.
Point, 5 printed books need to be submitted to the judges to be considered. They can be sent by the nominator or requested by the committee from the publisher. The Endeavor Award does have a geographical requirement. "The author(s) must have been living [maintaining legal or physical residence] in the Pacific Northwest [Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, The Yukon, and British Columbia] when the publisher accepted the book, and must affirm that they wrote the majority of the book while living in the Pacific Northwest."
Also, Mitchell, I'd love for Deception Peak to be included in the library (it's up for an award) but I don't have a Multnomah library card. So I would very much appreciate the suggestion. Thanks so much!Dianne Lynn Gardner
I suggested Deception Peak be purchased by the Multnomah Library today. I never know whether they respond to these or not, though I am waiting on 3 books from this list that they ordered sometime after I suggested that they do so.
Thank you very much, Mitchell. It's been my experience that libraries are slow with purchases. I appreciate it!
The Poison Priestess, the fourth book of The Silk & Steel Saga is submitted for the Endeavour Award. Just to let you know that The Steel Queen, the first book in the saga is now on sale on Amazon for $2.99. http://www.amazon.com/Steel-Queen-Sil...The Steel Queen

Dedicated readers of science fiction and fantasy already know this cosmic truism: It’s the genre that keeps on giving. Just when you think...
Anyone can add books to this list.

Check out http://www.osfci.org/endeavour/eligib... to submit a book. It looks like it is very easy to submit a book if you are connected to the book in some way. Or as an Orycon attendee I'd be happy to submit books for people that they thought were eligible but hadn't as of yet been submitted.
Also - in almost all cases I only read Endeavour books that are available at the Multnomah County Library. So suggesting that they buy a book at https://multcolib.org/suggest-purchase is a great idea - I intend to do that for all Endeavour nominees that aren't at the library - but I'm inconsistent with doing that.
So for instance - The Poison Priestess (The Silk & Steel Saga, #4) by Karen Azinger is not on the list - last updated February 8, 2013.
