Sorry I never meant it as anything divisive. I was looking through the lists on here years ago and most the lists I found were geared or voted towards young adults, women, or were very general. I just wanted to see what other guys were reading when I created the list. I chose the term "manfiction" because I had recently read it in an article, it was a kind of corny and silly title sort of like when USA used to run their "Movies for guys who like movies". But silly or corny it seemed like a succinct title and would instantly tell whoever saw it what kinds of books were on the list.
I truly don't want anyone to construe the intent of this list as to say these are only books that men should read, or that men can't enjoy other types of books, or that men should even like these books. Honestly I was just curious about what other guys out there were reading and what books they would recommend to their buddies, or if women were making the list what books they would bring home to their boyfriends/husbands.

You mean like chick lit?
