Holly dearest, read STRUCK by Jennifer Bosworth. It's coming out May 2012 but it's going to be huge!!! Fast paced, fantastic imagery and plot... Trust me, it's one for the keep shelf!!

On the other hand, Thirteen Reasons Why is very good!"
I didn't like Mockingjay at all either. So I couldn't even get myself to vote for it.

I LOVED Thirteen Reasons Why it is my favorite book of all time!!!<3

It's so weird, something in this book - the cover, the title, I have no idea what - just dis-attracts me. It's like the weirdest thing!

Really? That is strange lol
Honestly, I really did enjoy the book. I also liked the movie ;)
I would say racism, civil rights, feminism, and probably more but I'm not good at reviews other than "I liked/loved it" or "I didn't like it" haha It's based in the 1960's from memory when African Americans had no rights. Where upper class (??) white people had African American maids.
"The story is about African American maids working in white households in Jackson, Mississippi, during the early 1960s." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Help
Oh, good. Then I shall read it. Could you please recommend this to me (on the recommendations section)? :)

Mockingjay I really didn't like.
On the other hand, Thirteen Reasons Why is very good!
