Please add fiction that meets one or more following criteria:
- the heroine marrying a man who financially secure her;
- the heroine dating and marrying up to the higher circle;
- the ugly duckling transformation;
- rediscovering traditional femininity;
- Eliza Doolittle-like stories (woman from the lower class is learning to behave herself among the aristocracy).
Hypergamy and leveling up can be the main plotline ("Cinderella" by Charles Perrault) or not ("Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier), the story can have a happy ending ("Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen) or not ("The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen).
Please, try to add mostly classics.
