shouldn't even be on this list..
Granted its been years sense i have read this book. But damn me if i can remember anything that even hinted at a three person or more relationship.

Well, he later marries multiple women, though is much later in the series I though it would be valid.

TRUE. I was ok with all the relationship garbage in alternate places for book 1 but after that it turn into a lets-have-sex-with-anyone-just-because-we-can,-hell-yea-to-adultery garbage. Then came the weird change in POV where we see everything from the girl's prospective.

It seems to be a recent trend of certain authors to react to criticism of harems being childish/sexist/wishfulfillment by having the women take additional lovers/sleep around aswell. Personally it makes me retch. In other cases it's just a fetish finding it's way into their works.
One of the few things female authors and their harems get better. They're way more unapologetic and consequent.
Edit. Oh ALICE also falls into this category. The MC is literally happy about being cuckolded and such. He even encouraged it. Who adds to this list and why are these things even here given the disclaimer?

I personally wouldn't mind if they had the good grace not to market their cuckolding fetish as harem, since the two demographics are as anathema to each other as it is possible to get. It's downright insulting they can't even be bothered to put a simple warning in the description and then react like petulant children (I'm looking at you Dragon Cobolt) when people get upset because they were made to waste their valuable leisure time on something they didn't like, and were misled into doing so.
It doesn't help there's plenty of people around here that seem incapable of telling the difference between harem stories and polyamory stories and just pollute the lists with titles that clearly don't fit the description.
Maraud3r wrote: "One of the few things female authors and their harems get better. They're way more unapologetic and consequent."
That's because they don't have to deal with a horde of white knighting keyboard warriors defending the "virtue" of fictional women. Those cowards would never dare talk back to a woman, hence why female authors can churn out as many reverse harem stories as they want without having the peanut gallery throw a virtue signaling tantrum in a pathetic bid for attention.

Especially since they often do it not just to boost sales but basically to try and convince people "it's good and right". It seems to be very much an ideological thing with quite a few of these people.
What annoys me in this case is that the list SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES these books. The same as it excludes most of what for example J.A Cipriano would write because the relationships aren't serious enough to qualify. Yet these people add them anyway. I tried to get one of the librarians to pay attention, as creating a new list would just end up with it merged here but there seems to be no real interest so far.
As for peanut gallery. That's actually something I've seen and that confused me greatly. People talking about "equality" and "women" having just as mich right to act in a ertain manner. Which isn't something I disagree with but these aren't women, they're characters in a book. Fictional characters. Women have an insane number of reverse harems, far dwarfing harems too. So no need for "equality" there either.

Half the unfitting books were seemingly added by that one guy.
Edit:
Just a short Heads Up. Kiss like a Fist has been added to the list despite it being absolutely unfitting. It's NOT a harem unlike advertised, all but one relationships are casual flings never mentioned again, the one girl who is a romantic interest is not exclusive with the MC and "cheats" on him several times. The MC is initially angry then gets into it. Yeah, fuck that.

You voted for these two books, WHY? Both series completely go against the rules of this list. Yet you and others put them up here anyway. Giving a "warning" later doesn't resolve that issue.

Shawn Moore and Otherlife involve an MC with a harem that fulfills the requirement "No Infidelity on the fema..."
Anything by William D. Arrand and Randi Darren (same author) is safe. Cebelius works seem safe (the girls engage with one another but mostly with the MC around/after getting his consens), same deal for M. Tefler, Jamie Hawk and D.R Rosier. Michael Scott Earle is safe albeit currently not writing anymore.

Jake Richter's one and only shameful submission also doesn't qualify since all the girls have sex with his best friend right in front of the MC, ignoring his protestations.
I've heard C.W. Lamb's books are also about open-relationships but can't confirm since I never read them.
@Myria - I've been recently reading books by Crystal Candy (other pen name of Misty Vixen), specifically Warm Place and the new serial titled Refuge. They're harem books with a focus on survival and base building.

Hm, I was looking for mainly Fantasy or Sci-Fi Fantasy. Looking to focus on the wish fulfillment/domination aspect, less on particularly anything else. Thanks for responding though.
Also, how come the books everyone is pointing out doesn't fit have not been removed from the list yet?

You could look at "The Wooden Sword" or "The Start of Time". It's awfully self-promoting of me, but you might try those.

Power Mage is decent. It's urban fantasy tho. Anything by Randi Darren/Arrand is a safe bet (same author, Randi stuff is more graphic). The Fostering Faust series if you haven't read it yet maybe.
And it's not being removed because the folks who could remove it don't give a damn. Tried to point it out on the forums and they simply ignored it. While folks who should know better keep adding stuff that's simply open relationship/unrelated fetish/outright ntr here.
