Josie is a dark fantasy, paranormal romance and historical fiction author who writes about lost worlds, dystopian societies and morally-ambiguous monsters (vampires are her favourite). She has published multiple novels and short stories. Most of those are set in the Silverse, an apocalyptic world filled with vampires and zombies.

Josie is the founding editor of indie fantasy magazine Indie Bites (www.silversunbooks.com) and the writer of the urban fantasy podcast Jack Valentine, Vampire Detective (www.jackvalentinepod.com).

A weird gothic fantasy that feels like Frankenstein meets State of Sorrow. Court intrigue, murder and conspiracy all wound up together in a dissection of self-protective impulses in the face of trauma. Creative and gruesome.

A relentlessly dark dystopian horror. I love the way King crafts his characters, with every likeable and unlikeable aspect mashed together in a way that feels so genuine. This is just a heartbreaking novel, wonderfully paced. Loved it.

A thrilling romance novel, fast-paced and gripping. I adored the characters, particularly Ruby. Her predicament and her grief are so beautifully wound through the way she is portrayed. A very enjoyable novella. I couldn’t put it down!
