I started reading Blake Crouch because my mom pulled his book "Pines" off the shelf and told me I had to read it. Now.

Months later, I finally picked up that book and read it almost in a single sitting. And then the second one. And then the third one. Unfortunately, that series ended, so I moved onto the next book by him that kept getting rave reviews: Dark Matter.

4.5 stars. This is a page turner, for sure. I would've read it in one sitting if I didn't need to sleep. There are a few sex scenes, but I just skipped 2-3 paragraphs and moved on. ...more

Wow this was a wild ride. I really enjoyed this story, and was able to get sucked right in. I loved the aspect of how dedicated Jason was to Daniela throughout all of this. I loved how we were thrown into chaos right with Jason, trying to figure out what was going on right along with him. The scienc-y stuff was well explained and I didn’t really feel lost, just mind blown. The only thing that dropped it down for me is the storyline with Amanda, which I really didn’t enjoy or care about.
