What Members Thought
Great book, but certainly a little different than I expected. A couple of thoughts:
1) The first 1/3 of the book was pure Neal Stephenson. The middle 1/3 was a little slow and probably could have been tightened up a bit. The last 1/3 of the book was pure action.
2) Loved the characters. Each one was very unique and interesting.
3) At the very end, the coincidences were a little crazy. Everyone seemed like they just happened to be in the right place at the right time. It was a little much.

The most accessible of the Neal Stephenson novels I've read. A lot of action with a special angle for geeky-tech-nerds. The last act of the story was a bit of an eye-roller for me though, going beyond "That's a weird and funny coincidence" into "Oh C'mon! Like that would really happen!" Still, a very enjoyable page-turner.
