I will never read another book this thick in less than a week again, my brain is mush and for what?

This book was so good! I really enjoyed this book much more than I had anticipated. In the previous books, I hadn't been a huge fan of Daenerys' sections, and the title of this one gave me the impression that she would have a big role in this book. And she did, but I liked her sections in this one much more than I had her sections in the previous books. ADwD is MUCH better on a second read. I originally thought the plot wasn't very engaging, but it certainly is--at least in this first book. Even the Dany and Tyrion chapters are exciting. Perhaps it's because there's not much Quentyn yet, which I thought dragged the story down. (That'll be in the second aDwD book.) Plus, a second read is letting me get immersed in the details a lot more (I think I was much more concerned with plot the first go round). Quite a good book.
