I'm rounding up from 4.5 stars. In high school, one of my favorite classes was mythology. The stories about heroes, gods, and adventures sparked my imagination and added a new genre to my reading repertoire. When I saw this book popping up on a lot of my GR friends' feeds, I knew that I was going to rediscover that fascination with mythology. I went into reading this novel with high expectations as all I had heard was positive reviews. I found the story to be a bit boring and could not remain interested.

Maybe another read might be different, but I will need to prepare myself for the journey.
