I'm rounding up from 4.5 stars. In high school, one of my favorite classes was mythology. The stories about heroes, gods, and adventures sparked my imagination and added a new genre to my reading repertoire. The author has a way with the words :) Yet another Greek Gods story. It is really hard to put down Madeline Miller's book. I wish she write books other than Greek tragedies though. I have had enough of Greek gods....

This is a story about Circe, the Witch of Aeaea. I loved how much effort the author put into weaving various tales of Circe and breathing new life into a relatively minor character in Greek mythology.
