Circe!!!
I loved mythology in middle school and Circe delivers. The Depth and details of her story kept me turning page after page.

This is a story about Circe, the Witch of Aeaea. I loved how much effort the author put into weaving various tales of Circe and breathing new life into a relatively minor character in Greek mythology.

The theme of this book is perfectly summarized with the opening sentence:
“When I was born, the word for what I was did not exist.”

Her story begins with her recounting her life as an outcast amongst the Gods. She was then exiled to the beautiful island of Aeaea, where she lived alone with lions and ...more
