Well a five star rating doesn't happen very often with me. I save them for that rare book that just blows my mind and this book did just that!

This book is just top notch. A killer plot, strong but flawed characters, and a really good twist that I didn't see coming. I could totally see this book being made into a movie and it would be great.

Siren Sveistrup is right up there with Henning Mankell and Jo Nesbo. I hope he keeps writing and makes this a series because I want to see more of these chara ...more

Intense and surprising

A crime novel like a fresh breath of aid, new elements and complex machinations make this book exciting and addictive to the core. I loved Sveistrup style of character development and the characters themselves proved to be unpretentious and original.
Sure I am biased because of my love for Nordic crime thrillers. Nevertheless, Sveistrup won hia name to the top of my favorite Nordic writers.
