Shelves: genre-sci-fi, genre-adult, theme-marriage, genre-suspense-thriller

I went into this having no idea what to expect. I’d just seen it recommended somewhere and added it to my TBR list.

This was engrossing. The opening chapters really yanked me in. The physics of it all lost me from time to time. This book is super heavy on the science. It was all about infinite universes and doors to other worlds and visiting other worlds to find their way back to their own. It was both a familiar and yet foreign concept.

strong first half (5/5), the second half dragged and I didn't enjoy it as much but better than average. there were times when I did want to (and I probably did!) shout out loud in complete exasperation at the protagonists actions. The last quarter felt rushed and unfocused. ...more
