This is a tricky one to comment on, and each time I look at it I wonder should it be 3 or a 4 ah if only there were half stars.
But why especially since there are so many glowing reviews. Well I will admit that there were some amazingly fun ideas and scenes thrown in - which is a real challenge to comment about under my self imposed no spoilers. But enough to say that Blake Crouch does has some fun with the set scenes.

What a ride....
very fast read, albeit uneven book. I really liked Jason1 and Daniela and the premise intrigued me but the last 3rd of the book left a lot to be desired. Every once in a while, you read a story that churns your brain. Dark Matter was one of those for me. Each turn of the story had me engrossed and it went in directions I wouldn’t have ever been able to predict! If anyone has read this and could recommend similar books to me, please do because I loved this one.
Loved this book, although the ending wasn’t what I was expecting it made sense and perhaps a sequel. One of my favorite quotes from the book and there are many is this “I can’t help thinking that we’re more than the sum total of our choices, that all the paths we might have taken factor somehow into the math of our identity. Thank you Jody for the recommendation.
How does an author follow up a book with such an unusual and interesting premise? I'm looking forward to finding out!
