Nalini Singh is an excellent story teller, she seams to get the balance between romance and action just right. Her characters are always developing more and become increasingly intriguing. I like how her Male characters are strong Alphas, but somehow, can be sensitive given the correct circumstances. Her female characters are always independent and strong willed but dutifully dedicated to their men. The structure of their world is interesting, with angels on the top of the hierarchy being the masters of vampires and humans in their territories.
Raphael is one of the Archangels in charge and Elena is now trying to combine her new life as his consort and newly made angel and her old one as a Guild Hunter.
The writing is flowery and pretty heavy and I'll probably take a break before listening to the ne ...more
