another great story in this series i am fast falling in love with. Passionate and deep the love these two develop is quite a roller coaster and the underlying plots in the political stage of the psy world are scarily close to what i imagine the real political world is like if a little more figurative in the killing to get higher ranking (i hope). Chopping at the bit for #3. Cannot wait!

This novel focused on Faith NightStar, the most powerful F-Psy, and Vaughn, one of the DarkRiver sentinels. I really enjoyed the interaction between the two of them and the pack. I also like that we still got to see a fair amount of Lucas and Sascha; they didn't just disappear when we moved on to another mated pair.

The overall changes in their world continue and I liked that Faith's family handled her defection differently than Sascha's family. The Changeling are adapting and expanding and while ...more

Meh. I didn’t feel any great connection to this couple, so this was just okay for me. Not as gripping as the first book was. Now I’m not sure whether to keep going with the series – these all seem to have much the same plot, just with a different couple each time.
