Shelves: audiobook, fantasy

In the best tradition of Jules Verne, Jim Butcher's new saga is a great read, full of adventure and well developed characters.
Jim Butcher is always entertaining but this book is more YA oriented than his Dresden Files saga.
There's a multitude of characters and they are distictive, even the "bad guys" are well rounded characters that have their motivations and doubts and honour.

The pacing of the book is good, the battles of the flying ships are described with the motion picture in mind, they are ...more

I really enjoyed this book it included a flying ships, sword fighting mass revolt enemies and friends to lover to enemy again, college students playing a part in foiling a war it was a rollicking good read.
