Shelves: fantasy

WAW! Great book. And amazing, how you can write a book with pictures you found on different places. Love the style of this author, and his rich fantasy. From the first page I couldn't put this book down.
I can't wait for the second and third part.
And about the story, well I can't say anything, I would spoil it for the people who still have to read it. ...more

This started out with quite a lot of promise. There was a very good hook to get you into the story, but it just dragged its feet to the end. It's a quick read, so I would give it a go if you think it sounds interesting. I do like the use of old photographs, but I am not entirely sure you can fabricate a story out of them; sometimes I felt like I was given a photo just because the author had it in his stash and wanted me to know about it, regardless of its relevance to the plot.
