What Members Thought
I thought for a first book in a series this one was really well written. The beginning was a little slow but the rest of the book was great! Now I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I was really worried that this would be Twilight-esque but luckily the friendship was far more important than the romance.
The plot was a bit all over the place, but I'm going to put that down to it being the first book in the series, so ground work is being laid.
I liked the protagonist, though she got on my nerves from time to time. Also liked how the author moved between Rose's story and Lissa's while never breaking 1st person POV.
