Wow! I... just I don't... Wow! After finishing the book I just sat there staring at the last page thinking, "What the hell just happened?!" This novel was incredibly thought-provoking and beautiful. The storyline was original and wonderfully structured and pieced out. I'm still in shock and I finished it a day ago! I still find myself randomly thinking about the ending and the characters and just everything!

This book is focused around the idea that love is a disease and that it's only filled w Wow! I... just I don't... Wow! After finishing the book I just sat there staring at the last page thinking, "What the hell just happened?!" This novel was incredibly thought-provoking and beautiful. The storyline was original and wonderfully structured and pieced out. I'm still in shock and I finished it a day ago! I still find myself randomly thinking about the ending and the characters and just everything!

This book is focused around the idea that love is a disease and that it's only filled with pain and hurt and in Lena's world love is feared and at 18 years old is taken from them. While reading this I couldn't help but think how lucky we are to have the ability to love and the choice of who and what to love. I actually tried to picture myself in this type of society and how I would react, and if I would revolt or go with it. I'd like to say I would revolt, that I would stand up and be brave and fierce, but I guess know one really knows how they would react until force into that situation.

I adore about every single major character in this book. Each character was well developed and thought out. I really felt I understood how Lena felt, scared and nervous about the disease, Amor Deliria Nervosa. I enjoyed being able to watch her grow throughout the novel and see her become a brave, strong person. Alex was perfect in many way, I mean who doesn't love it when a guy recites poetry! I'm a little nervous and excited to see how the relationship and story progresses in the next novel! They have a Romeo and Juliet thing going on which is both beautiful and tragic, hopefully we see more beauty in the next novel than tragedy!

While reading this I had a rush of different emotions: sad, scared, happy, heartbroken, nervous, furious. I felt like the world was spinning and I was just there, still in the mist of it all. I felt all the pain and shock the characters did. This book affected me, emotionally, in a way no other book really has. It takes an extraordinarily talented author to provoke those feelings within a reader! My praise and admiration go out to Lauren Oliver who has once again blown my mind with her beautiful, poetic words. Hands down one of the BEST books I have ever read! I had high expectations going into Lauren Oliver's Delirium, since Before I Fall is one of my favorite young adult novels. I was also very excited because of the incredible reviews it has received since its publication.

I made the mistake of picking this up at about 10.30 last night, about 60% read, and then couldnt put it down until i
finished, well after midnight. The minute i finished i jumped on goodreads and updated my status with "OMFG, nooooooooooooo!
you cant end a book like that! Thankgod i didnt read this book before the sequel came out". Yep. The ending was that good

This was a really good book! I loved it! I didn't really know what to expect when I started reading it, but the way the author wrote it and the way she did the plot was amazing and it was so captivating. I cannot wait for the second book. This book was kind of left at a cliffhanger so I really want to find out what happens.
