This was a great addition to the series with some wonderful about time moments. I look forward to where it looks like the series is headed.

Mini-Review:
I didn't care for the first half of this book but things turned around towards the end. After the painful experience of the last book, this entry starts out more comfortably. It's interesting seeing Alex more-or-less on equal footing with the Light Council... and still nothing changes. This story is a good, solid installment with a cliffhanger-esque ending that feels bitter-sweet.
Alex and company will need all the magic, skill, and luck they can manage going forward!
