4,5 stars actually, and totally deserved it!! I think this is my first experience reading Stephen King's book, and whatta BOOK! Telling a time travel story is not an easy thing to do, but King succeeded to doing it effortlessly. Jake Epping is one of the most lovable characters I've ever encountered and I can't help but to root for him. Like so much of Stephen King, this was so so so long, and there were times I was slogging through so many words about Lee Harvey Oswald and wishing an editor had been a bit more ruthless. But overall, it was really interesting and the premise was fantastic. I’ve found myself thinking about it for days afterward. I also loved all the references to “It” since I re-read that not too long ago.

Don't be scared of the length of the book, this story really keeps you going. The national geographic channel just made a movie called Killing Kennedy, and it was all stuff I was reading about in this novel...it's more historical fiction than it is sci/fi. I like the idea of time travel and how much of an impact each and every one of us has on the world.
