Shelves: fantasy, humour, discworld
The great Discworld re-read continues... This is definitely the point at which Terry finally found his feet on the Disc, it feels much more like the best of his work. Death is just brilliant (natch) and Mort at the start of the book is a fantastic foil to pretty much everything that Death is and represents.

The only reason this doesn't quite get 5 stars is that it is a little repetitive in places, certain concepts and phrasing are repeated more often than is really necessary. But that aside, it h

Continuing the saga of Discworld, Death takes an apprentice with surprising results. I felt this one dragged a bit at times, but still on each page there was a delicious bit of satire to keep me going. The first in the Death story arc, so definitely recommended, just not my favorite.
