It is not acceptable to invite people to the site and/or joining AHF for the sole purpose of nominating a book or voting for a book in a poll. It is not acceptable to ask for votes or influence the poll in any way, EXCEPT discussion in the nomination thread/poll comments. If we feel that a group read poll has been manipulated, the book in question will be disqualified, and the user(s) may be removed from the group. If we feel that the user(s) are fake accounts, these will also be reported to Goodreads for further review.

Inactive accounts are at risk for being appropriated by identity thieves. Members who have had no demonstrated activity at all on Goodreads for at least two years may be dropped from the group's roll.
